Following global standards and best practices in Europe and North America, the EGLCC is now the first certifying body for LGBTIQ small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the European continent.

Certification Eligibility
To qualify for EGLCC® Certification, your business must meet all the following criteria:
- Legally based and operating in continental Europe.
- At least 50.1% ownership and management control by one or more LGBTIQ individual(s).
- Ability to provide the required formal documentation.
General Information
- Official Recognition: EGLCC® Certification comes with a certificate confirming your status as a European LGBTIQ-owned, -managed, and -controlled business.
- Certification Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of €180 applies for new applications and recertifications, valid for three years.

Who is not eligible for EGLCC® Certification? Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), non-profit organizations (NPOs), and businesses based or operating outside continental Europe, including the UK, are not eligible for EGLCC® Certification.
Barriers to Becoming EGLCC® Certified?
We understand that some LGBTIQ businesses may not meet the criteria for EGLCC® Certification. To make our network accessible, we offer EGLCC® Registration. EGLCC® Registration gives you access to the EGLCC Business Network and includes your business in the EGLCC® Database of European LGBTIQ Businesses.

- Any percentage of ownership and management control by LGBTIQ individual(s)
- No written confirmation of status
- No registration fee

The unified EGLCC® Certification and Registration Application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”) collects the necessary information about LGBTIQ-owned and -operated businesses (hereinafter referred to as “businesses”) wishing to benefit from association with other LGBTIQ company owners within the EGLCC network, multinational companies, and other business development organizations.
